Top 28 Beauty Influencers in USA (2026)

Beauty shoppers want to see a product on skin before they buy it. YouTube gives them exactly that: long tutorials, honest reviews, drugstore tests and dermatologist breakdowns. The best beauty influencers in the USA shape what sells in makeup, skincare, haircare and fragrance, and they can launch or sink a product with one video.

How we built this list

Every channel here was pulled from the YouTube Data API in October 2026. We kept channels with a US channel country where one is listed (a few creators leave it blank and are included because they are widely known as US-based), at least one upload in recent months, and a clear fit with the topic. Subscriber counts are as reported by YouTube. Average views is the mean view count of a channel's most recent long-form videos, ignoring anything posted in the last seven days so brand-new uploads do not drag the number down. For channels that publish mostly Shorts, we fall back to all recent videos, so their averages read lower. Views per subscriber divides average views by subscribers. It is a quick signal of how much of the audience actually shows up, not a true engagement rate, and it says nothing about audience location or demographics. Confirm those with the creator before you sign a deal. Views per subscriber above 100% mean recent videos reached more people than the channel has subscribers, usually thanks to viral hits.

How to pick the right beauty influencer for your brand

  • Match the category. Makeup artists, hair specialists and skin care educators each drive different products. A dermatologist is a stronger fit for skincare than a glam makeup creator.
  • Use experts for credibility. Channels like Doctorly, Dr Dray and Dr. Neera Nathan add medical authority that suits active ingredients, sunscreen and dermatology-led brands.
  • Prioritize honest reviewers. Beauty audiences reward creators who test products openly. A candid review often converts better than a polished ad.
  • Review shade and skin type range. Make sure the creator's audience and skin tone fit your range, and send products that suit them.
  • Keep claims compliant. Avoid unsupported claims about skin results, and require clear sponsorship disclosure.

Conclusion

The top beauty influencers in the USA include global makeup stars, product reviewers, hair specialists and board-certified dermatologists. The right choice depends on your category, your claims and the level of trust your customer needs. A well-matched creator with 104K views per video can be more valuable than a megastar whose audience does not buy your product.

Frequently asked questions

Who are the top beauty influencers in the USA?

By YouTube subscribers, the largest on this list are James Charles (23.7M), Denitslava Makeup, Bailey Sarian, Tati and Christen Dominique. For skin care, look at Doctorly, Dr Dray, Hyram and Dr. Neera Nathan.

How do I find beauty influencers for my brand?

Choose your category, such as makeup, skin care or hair, then compare creators by subscribers, average views and recent activity. Influvine lets you search YouTube creators by niche so you can shortlist quickly.

Are dermatologists good beauty influencers?

For skin care, yes. Dermatologist-led channels bring credibility that helps explain ingredients and routines. Make sure any claims you ask them to make are accurate and approved.

What do beauty influencers charge?

Rates vary widely by audience size, format and usage rights, so ask each creator for a rate card. Many brands start with gifted product plus a small fee, then scale what works.

Do beauty influencers have to disclose sponsorships?

Yes. The FTC expects clear disclosure of paid or gifted partnerships. Ask every creator to label sponsored content in the video and use YouTube's paid promotion label.

Are smaller beauty creators worth working with?

Often. Channels such as Gothamista, Morgan Turner or Haley Kim reach engaged shoppers looking for honest reviews, and they can be a more affordable way to test a product.
