How we built this list
Every channel here was pulled from the YouTube Data API in October 2026. We kept channels with a US channel country where one is listed (a few creators leave it blank and are included because they are widely known as US-based), at least one upload in recent months, and a clear fit with the topic. Subscriber counts are as reported by YouTube. Average views is the mean view count of a channel's most recent long-form videos, ignoring anything posted in the last seven days so brand-new uploads do not drag the number down. For channels that publish mostly Shorts, we fall back to all recent videos, so their averages read lower. Views per subscriber divides average views by subscribers. It is a quick signal of how much of the audience actually shows up, not a true engagement rate, and it says nothing about audience location or demographics. Confirm those with the creator before you sign a deal.
How to pick the right pets influencer for your brand
- Match the species. A dog trainer sells dog gear better than a cat comedy channel. Exotic pet creators like reptile and spider keepers have smaller but very loyal buyers for specialty supplies.
- Weigh education against entertainment. Trainers and vets build trust and drive considered purchases such as food and supplements. Comedy and cute-pet channels give cheap reach and awareness.
- Check the views, not just the follower count. Compare average views to subscribers. A smaller channel with strong views per video often beats a giant channel with a quiet audience.
- Think about the animals' welfare and your claims. Pet audiences are protective. Avoid creators who promote unsafe practices, and keep health claims for products accurate.
- Start with a test integration. Run one sponsored segment with a tracked link or code before you commit to a longer series.
Conclusion
The top pets influencers in the USA cover every corner of the category: viral cats and dogs, rescue storytellers, professional trainers, veterinarians, aquarists and exotic pet keepers. The right pick depends on your product, your audience and your budget, not just the biggest number on the page. A trainer with 44.6K average views can move more dog treats than a giant entertainment channel, and a rescue brand can build real goodwill for a cause-driven launch.
If you want to go beyond a list, Influvine helps you find YouTube creators by niche and size, with subscriber and view data in one place, so you can build a shortlist of pet influencers that actually fit your brand.
Frequently asked questions
Who are the top pets influencers in the USA?
By subscribers, the largest pet channels in this list are That Little Puff (38.5M), The Dodo, The Pet Collective, AaronsAnimals and Jay Prehistoric Pets. Trainers like Zak George and Cesar Millan, and cat expert Jackson Galaxy, lead the education side of the category.
What makes someone a pets influencer?
A pets influencer builds an audience around animals, whether that is their own pets, rescue work, training advice or exotic animal care. Brands partner with them because pet owners trust recommendations from people they watch every week.
How do I find pets influencers for my brand?
Start with the niche that matches your product, such as dog training, cats, aquariums or reptiles, then compare subscribers, average views and recent upload activity. A tool like Influvine lets you filter YouTube creators by niche so you do not have to do this by hand.
Are micro pet influencers worth working with?
Often yes. Smaller creators such as Training Positive or Dr. Judy Morgan reach focused audiences of dog owners and pet health buyers. They tend to cost less and can be easier to work with, so many brands mix one or two larger names with several smaller ones.
Where can I contact these pet influencers?
Most creators list a business email in the About tab of their YouTube channel. Click through from the profile links above, check the About section, and send a short pitch that names a specific video and a clear offer.
Do pet influencers need to disclose sponsorships?
Yes. In the US, the FTC expects creators to clearly disclose paid or gifted partnerships. Ask every creator you work with to add a visible disclosure and to use YouTube's paid promotion label.
