How we built this list
Every channel here was pulled from the YouTube Data API in October 2026. We kept channels with a US channel country where one is listed (a few creators leave it blank and are included because they are widely known as US-based), at least one upload in recent months, and a clear fit with the topic. Subscriber counts are as reported by YouTube. Average views is the mean view count of a channel's most recent long-form videos, ignoring anything posted in the last seven days so brand-new uploads do not drag the number down. For channels that publish mostly Shorts, we fall back to all recent videos, so their averages read lower. Views per subscriber divides average views by subscribers. It is a quick signal of how much of the audience actually shows up, not a true engagement rate, and it says nothing about audience location or demographics. Confirm those with the creator before you sign a deal.
How to choose a crypto influencer for your brand
- Match the audience to the product. Traders watch chart analysis channels, long-term investors watch macro and research creators, and builders follow DeFi and Ethereum media. A beginner wallet and a derivatives exchange need different partners.
- Prioritize credibility over hype. Crypto audiences are quick to call out paid shills. Look for creators with a track record of explaining risks, not just price targets.
- Read recent comments and past sponsorships. Check whether previous brand deals were disclosed and how the audience reacted before you commit budget.
- Compare views to subscribers. Live-streaming and news channels can have large subscriber counts but uneven views. Use average views as your reality check.
- Plan for compliance first. Crypto promotion is regulated and varies by product and country. Get legal sign-off on claims, disclosures and who can see the ad.
Conclusion
The top crypto influencers in the USA range from news networks and live streamers to quant-minded analysts, investors and DeFi specialists. The best partner for you depends on whether you need education, trust with serious investors, or fast reach with traders. Because the category is regulated and the audience is skeptical, honest disclosure and a clear, accurate message matter more here than almost anywhere else.
To build a shortlist faster, Influvine lets you discover YouTube creators by niche and size, with subscriber and view data, so you can compare crypto channels side by side instead of opening them one at a time.
Frequently asked questions
Who are the top crypto influencers in the USA?
By subscribers, the biggest US crypto creators on this list are Paul Barron Network (2.7M), followed by Brian Jung, Altcoin Daily, Discover Crypto and Crypto Banter. Benjamin Cowen and InvestAnswers lean toward data-driven analysis, while Anthony Pompliano brings an investor and business angle.
How do I find crypto influencers for my brand?
Pick the segment first: news, trading, long-term investing or DeFi. Then compare subscribers, average views and recent activity. Influvine helps you search YouTube creators by niche so you can shortlist faster.
Are crypto influencers regulated?
Not as a class, but promotions are. In the US, the FTC requires clear disclosure of paid relationships, and securities regulators have taken action against people who promoted crypto assets without disclosing payment. Treat compliance as part of your campaign brief.
What should I pay attention to before sponsoring a crypto creator?
Check their record on disclosing sponsors, how they handle risk, and whether their audience matches your market. Avoid anyone who guarantees returns.
Are smaller crypto creators worth it?
Yes. Channels like The Defiant, Thinking Crypto or Crypto Jebb reach focused audiences and can be a better fit for specific products such as DeFi tools, exchanges for traders or education platforms.
Is it better to work with news channels or analysts?
News and live channels give fast awareness around launches and events. Analysts and researchers earn deeper trust for products that need explanation. Many brands use both.
