How we built this list

Every channel here was pulled from the YouTube Data API in October 2026. We kept channels with a US channel country where one is listed (a few creators leave it blank and are included because they are widely known as US-based), at least one upload in recent months, and a clear fit with the topic. Subscriber counts are as reported by YouTube. Average views is the mean view count of a channel's most recent long-form videos, ignoring anything posted in the last seven days so brand-new uploads do not drag the number down. For channels that publish mostly Shorts, we fall back to all recent videos, so their averages read lower. Views per subscriber divides average views by subscribers. It is a quick signal of how much of the audience actually shows up, not a true engagement rate, and it says nothing about audience location or demographics. Confirm those with the creator before you sign a deal. Views per subscriber above 100% mean recent videos reached more people than the channel has subscribers, usually thanks to viral hits.

How to pick the right food influencer for your brand

  • Match the format. Recipe teachers, bakers, restaurant reviewers and food-challenge creators attract different viewers. Pick the format that shows your product best.
  • Check the skill level. Technique-led chefs suit premium cookware and ingredients. Easy-recipe channels suit pantry staples and family products.
  • Look at views, not just subscribers. Channels like Dylan Huynh and Nick's Kitchen pull far more views than their size suggests.
  • Review recent uploads. Some channels shift toward vlogs or challenges. Confirm the creator still publishes the kind of food content you want.
  • Make sponsorships clear. Ask creators to state partnerships in the video and to use YouTube's paid promotion label.

Conclusion

The top food influencers in the USA range from chef-led recipe channels and bakers to food travelers, restaurant reviewers and everyday home cooks. The right partner depends on your product, your customer and the format you want, not just the biggest subscriber count. A creator averaging 409K views with an engaged audience can sell more than a giant channel that does not cook with your category.

Frequently asked questions

Who are the top food influencers in the USA?

By YouTube subscribers, the largest on this list are Nick DiGiovanni (48M), Rosanna Pansino, Best Ever Food Review Show, Mark Wiens and Joshua Weissman. For classic recipes, look at Preppy Kitchen, Food Wishes and Chef Jean-Pierre.

How do I find food influencers for my brand?

Choose the type of food content that fits your product, such as baking, home recipes or restaurant reviews. Compare creators by subscribers, average views and recent activity. Influvine lets you search YouTube creators by niche so you can shortlist quickly.

Are food influencers good for restaurants and grocery brands?

Yes. Restaurant reviewers and recipe creators show viewers exactly how to use or order a product, which supports restaurants, grocery items, kitchen tools and meal kits.

Are smaller food creators worth it?

Often. Creators such as Giovanni Siracusa or Cooking Con Claudia reach focused home-cooking audiences and can be a cost-effective way to test a product.

Do food influencers have to disclose sponsorships?

Yes. The FTC expects clear disclosure of paid or gifted partnerships. Ask every creator to label sponsored content in the video and use YouTube's paid promotion label.

Should I look beyond YouTube?

Probably. Food audiences are very active on Instagram and TikTok too. Use YouTube for detailed recipes and reviews, and check each creator's other platforms.
