How we built this list
Every channel here was pulled from the YouTube Data API in October 2026. We kept channels with a US channel country where one is listed (a few creators leave it blank and are included because they are widely known as US-based), at least one upload in recent months, and a clear fit with the topic. Subscriber counts are as reported by YouTube. Average views is the mean view count of a channel's most recent long-form videos, ignoring anything posted in the last seven days so brand-new uploads do not drag the number down. For channels that publish mostly Shorts, we fall back to all recent videos, so their averages read lower. Views per subscriber divides average views by subscribers. It is a quick signal of how much of the audience actually shows up, not a true engagement rate, and it says nothing about audience location or demographics. Confirm those with the creator before you sign a deal. Views per subscriber above 100% mean recent videos reached more people than the channel has subscribers, usually thanks to viral hits.
How to pick the right travel influencer for your brand
- Match the travel style. Luxury first-class reviewers, budget advisors, van lifers, food travelers and cruise channels attract very different travelers.
- Consider destinations and seasonality. Choose creators whose audiences are planning trips to your destination, and time campaigns ahead of peak booking windows.
- Value storytelling. Cinematic and story-led creators give tourism and hospitality brands lasting content, not just a one-off mention.
- Think about gear and services. Packing, power, luggage and van-life creators are strong for products that solve travel problems.
- Measure bookings, not just views. Use tracked links and codes so you can see which creators actually drive trips.
Conclusion
The top travel influencers in the USA cover everything from global adventure series and food travel to van life, cruises and airline reviews. The best partner is the one whose audience is planning the kind of trip your brand supports. A niche creator with 161K average views can be more valuable than a giant channel that does not match your destination or traveler.
To build your shortlist faster, Influvine helps you discover YouTube creators by niche and size, with subscriber and view data in one place.
