How we built this list
Every channel here was pulled from the YouTube Data API in October 2026. We kept channels with a US channel country where one is listed (a few creators leave it blank and are included because they are widely known as US-based), at least one upload in recent months, and a clear fit with the topic. Subscriber counts are as reported by YouTube. Average views is the mean view count of a channel's most recent long-form videos, ignoring anything posted in the last seven days so brand-new uploads do not drag the number down. For channels that publish mostly Shorts, we fall back to all recent videos, so their averages read lower. Views per subscriber divides average views by subscribers. It is a quick signal of how much of the audience actually shows up, not a true engagement rate, and it says nothing about audience location or demographics. Confirm those with the creator before you sign a deal. Views per subscriber above 100% mean recent videos reached more people than the channel has subscribers, usually thanks to viral hits.
How to pick the right skincare influencer for your brand
- Use experts for credibility. Dermatologists such as Doctorly, Dr Dray and Dr. Alexis Stephens add medical authority that suits active ingredients and sunscreen.
- Match the skin concern. Acne, aging, sensitive skin and budget routines attract different audiences. Pick the concern your product solves.
- Check claims carefully. Avoid unsupported promises about results, and make sure any claims are accurate and approved.
- Mix experts and consumers. Pair a dermatologist for education with a consumer reviewer for honest first impressions.
- Require disclosure. Ask for clear sponsorship labels in the video and in YouTube's paid promotion tool.
Conclusion
The top skincare influencers in the USA include board-certified dermatologists, estheticians and consumer reviewers. The right partner depends on your claims, your ingredients and how much medical trust your customer needs. A creator averaging 64.5K views with an engaged audience can matter more than a large channel that rarely covers skincare science.

Yes. The FTC expects clear disclosure of paid or gifted partnerships. Ask every creator to label sponsored content in the video and use YouTube's paid promotion label.
How is this list different from the beauty influencers list?
This list focuses on skincare creators and dermatologists. Our beauty list is broader and also covers makeup and hair, so a few creators appear in both.
